I am trying really hard to not be frustrated. I need to make a plan, make a list and move forward.
I need to shovel the driveway. I am doing this in place of an upper body workout.
Why is it, when I get good new or bad news regarding my weight, I want to eat everything in sight???
resting metabolic rate: 1281. (I am disappointed at how low that is, but if I was not working out it would be super low)
resting heart rate: 56 bpm (yay)
At rest I am burning 92% carbs and 8% fat. Those numbers are WAY off. I need to eat more protein. So I need to add a protein shake into my diet.
To lose .5 lb per week, the Cleveland Clinic physiologist suggested I eat 1750 calories a day and use fitday.com to track my ratios. I am moderately active. To maintain, I need to eat 1900 calories.
I plan on using twitter to track my food, add to Fitday at the end of the day and see where I am.
beginning of lent: Giving up sweets until Easter. No lattes, no hershey kisses, no cake, no sweets, no cookies or animal crackers, no candy, no donuts, No Simple Carbs.

I have been using FitDay since the day after Christmas. It really helps keep me honest with myself.
