I added a few books to my vox blog.
Eating for Life and Body for Life got me through my first 12 week challenge. I adapted a lot of the recipes in Eating for Life to be vegetarian. I used tofu instead of chicken or fake meats (morningstar steak strips or veggie crumnbles) instead of real meats.
I'm reading The Clean Eating Diet books by Tosco Reno. She really is an inspiration. She starting eating clean and lifting weights at age 40. The cookbook is full of delicious food ideas for meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. She also looks a variety of protein sources, a DIY fool proof stir fry, and gluten free options. Eat recipes has a bright and colorful picture alongside it. Tosco Reno also writes for OXYGEN magazine which is true women's health and fitness mag. Not a lot of fluff in there
